Dial-up Scheduling

You can automate the connection process for a dial-up connection by using the autodial feature

Preparing Connect and Disconnect batch files

Example Connection Information

  1. connect.bat

  2. rasdial Hogenet hogeuser hogepassword
    
  3. disconnect.bat

  4. rasdial Hogenet /disconnect
    
  5. Open parent directory's [Properties] window.
    Add [Administrator] user and check off [Allow inheritable permission from parent to propagate to this object] and remove [Everyone] for security reason

  1. Open [Scheduled Tasks] window and double click [Add Scheduled Task]

  2. Click [Next>]

  3. Click [Browse...] button and select connect/disconnect batch file

  4. Type a name of the task, click [Weekly] and click [Nect>]

  5. Change [Start time] and select the days of the week and click [Nect>]

  6. Type a password for Administrator and click [Nect>]

  7. Click [Finish] button

  8. Continue adding Schedules and make like following
