NAVCE7.5 - Install - Central Quarantine Server

1. Run Disc1 CDSTART.EXE and click [Install Central Quarantine Server Locally]


2. Click Next after reading the Welcome page


3. Click Next after reading and accepting the Software License Agreement page.


4. Select your destination folder and click Next


5. Select the Internet based option for submitting infected files to the Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (SARC). Click Next.


6. Enter the maximum amount of Disk space to allocate for quarantined files. I recommend a minimum of 150 megabytes. Click Next.


7. Enter the Customer Information as shown below and click Next.


8. Accept the default Web Communication Gateway name and click Next.


9. Tick the Enable alerts box and enter the name of the server on which you've installed the NAV Server software in the AMS server name text box. Click Next. Instructions for configuring AMS are described later.


10. When completed, click Finish and allow Setup to restart your computer.



You can now use Symantec System Center to control your Norton Antivirus Server Group. Use the following configuration and usage guide for administering the software with SSC.
