ethereal-0.8.13-1

Ethereal is a GUI network protocol analyzer. It lets you interactively browse packet data from a live network or from a previously saved capture file.

Installation

  1. System requires
    1. libpcap
    2. gtp+

  2. Download Ethereal from http://www.tcpdump.org

  3. Install 
    # rpm -ihv ethereal-0.8.13-1.i386.rpm
  4. Start
    1. Start X-Window
    2. Be root user and run
    $ su
# ethereal &
